The CHS “Coventry Cares Club” is asking students and families to support our latest initiative “Koalas & Kangas” by bringing a loonie or a toonie to school between January 20 and March 19, 2020. The students thought that this would be a good way to be global citizens and make a difference by helping and supporting animals that have been affected by the current Australian wildfires. With your help we hope to send a really BIG cheque to one of the charities currently rescuing and nursing injured koalas and kangaroos. The BEST part of this project is that Mrs. Verstraete’s daughter, Miss V., is currently teaching in Brisbane, AU, and can personally deliver our money to the charity of our choice. She will also send us back some pictures of our money in action! Thanks for your help and support of “Koalas & Kangas”!Friday, January 17, 2020
