Please bring something to share with your friends during our next google meet (Wednesday 9:30am and/ or Thursday (2:00pm).
When you are sharing please answer following questions:
1. What makes it special?
2. When did I get it? or Who gave it to me?
3. What is it made of?
4. Three words to describe it such as: big/ colourful/ soft

If you were unable to join me for google meets please let me know and I can do one-on-one google meet with you.

School Conference Manager opened Friday, May 15 for parents to book a 15 minute time to pick up their child’s belongings and school supplies. Please go into MyCBE powerschool (as you did for parent/teacher conferences) to choose a time starting Friday, May 22nd – Friday, May 29th times will be specifically laid out in conference manager. Teachers have organized student belonging into bags that have been labeled with you child’s name for pick up. If you have any library books and/or home reading books to return, a basket will be made available. We encourage one parent per family and no children please. Please ring the door bell, state you child’s teacher & grade and we will bring out the ready made bag to you. Please practice physical distancing and keep 6 feet from others if you discover there is a line up at the door.

Hello Room 8 friends!

We have a special guest joining our Google meet tomorrow             (Wednesday) at 9:30am. Unfortunately this guest is unable to join us on Thursday at 2:00pm. If possible, please try to attend tomorrow's google meet and if for some reason you are not able to join us, don't worry I'll share the same lesson (that is delivered by our guest) on Thursday.

Please submit at least one writing and one math assignment per week. You can submit your assignments in Google classroom or you can email them to me.

Thank you for letting me know which animal you would like to do your research on for our animal research project. I will be sending an email with facts and websites to help you with your research. 
Daily learning activities in google classroom will have information on weekly goals and research activities for you to do.

There will be no learning activities posted for Friday (May 15) and Monday (May 18).
No school on Friday (non-instructional day) and Monday (Victoria Day).

Please email your animal choice for your animal research if you have not emailed it to me yet.

• Most of the families have let me know which animal their child is interested in researching.  If you haven't done so, please email me. We will work on this research project one-step-at-a-time, over the next few weeks. I will email the students (and Cc the parents) a research document with facts, website links, pictures and videos on the animal they've selected. The students can use this for each research task. 
• This Thursday at 3:00, the staff at Coventry Hills School are having a parade through the community! As many of us as possible will drive through the community. Please come out and wave to us!
