- No school tomorrow!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Students are welcome to wear their costume to school!  Please no weapons or scary masks!  

If students do not want to wear their costume or they do not recognize Halloween, they can either wear Black and Orange or regular clothes.  Please do not send treats for your class!

Tomorrow, CHS will be having our seventh annual “Pumpkinella” event.  

Children may bring in a Jack-O-Lantern to be put in the gym as part of our ‘spooktacular’ display.  

We will do a Pumpkinella tour to admire all the Jack O' Lanterns!

Pumpkins can be brought to the gym between 8:55 – 9:10AM and 

must be picked up by 4:15PM the same day.  

Unclaimed pumpkins will be composted.

Tomorrow is class photo day (and lifetouch will be taking re-takes). Please e-mail me if you would like your child to have re-takes.
Your child can wear his/her Halloween costume on Thursday, October 31st (no masks or weapons) to school.
If your family is decorating a pumpkin for Pumpkinella, please bring it to school on Thursday morning and pick it up after school. 
No school on Friday, November 1st.

Last day of Glenbow School tomorrow.
We had an exciting day today! Today was 'behind the scenes day', we looked at artifacts in the storage rooms.

Day 3 of Glenbow school was fantastic!
We did an art project and wrote a poem. We looked at paintings by artist Sybil Andrews!

Day 2 of Glenbow school was awesome!
We met Kim and she shared some Blackfoot stories with us. 
We also visited the downtown public library.

First day of Glenbow school was amazing!
We studied artifacts, we sketched and saw some very interesting things.

Museum school starts Monday!
Please pack a nutritious lunch, a snack and a water bottle for your child.
Please arrive on time as the bus will leave for Glenbow Museum at 9:20. 

Parent volunteers please meet Mrs. Kaur in rom 8 at 8:55am for briefing.

8:55 AM – Parent volunteers meet in the classroom with teachers to discuss responsibilities and itinerary
9:10 AM – Students arrive at school and are organized into their small groups with their designated parent volunteer. 
9:20 AM – Bus leaves Coventry Hills School 
9:50 AM – Arrive at Glenbow Museum
Meeting with Glenbow Museum representatives 
10:00-12:00- Program ‘Just One Word ’ 
12:00 – 1:00 - Lunch and washroom break 
1:00- 3:00- Program ‘Getting to know Glenbow’ 
3: 00 PM Prepare for departure 
3:05 PM- Everyone meet near the buses 

3:35 PM – Bus arrives back at Coventry Hills School
